Early career scientists (ECS) committee

The aim of the ECS is to connect early career researchers within the NSWO. To this end, they organise various activities, including workshops and network events. They also host a LinkedIn group, where they share interesting papers and upcoming events

Education committee (EDUCIE)

The main aim of the EDUCIE is to organize symposia and courses. They traditionally organize the yearly Spring Symposium together with the ECS where they invite a sleep research group to showcase their work at their institute. They also award the Young Talent Fund to support early career researchers to visit a foreign lab, a course in sleep research or to present at a conference.

Science committee (WETCIE)

The WETCIE aims to promote the general scientific objectives of the NSWO, such as stimulating knowledge exchange among sleep researchers, providing sleep-related education,and advancing scientific sleep research in the Netherlands. The committee meets every six weeks.

Public relations (PR) committee

The main goals of the PR committee are to put our organisation out there, to have a consistent flow of relevant output and to be very open as a point of contact for all PR related questions from outside but also inside the NSWO. Based on these goals they create content, maintain the website, maintain the NSWO LinkedIn page and realise the NSWO Year in review glossy together with the Early career scientists committee.
